Licensing Breakdown
Developer Licenses
Development Licenses are provided with the following options. If known which license you require, please include your choice in the comments box on this form before submitting.
- Standalone Multiple Application Developer License (MADL): grants a single developer, development rights for an unlimited number of Applications, on a single target Operation System, for a one year period.
- Standalone Single Application Developer License (SADL): grants a single developer, development rights for one Application using one CPU and one Operating System.
- OS PAL Developer License (DL): grants a single developer, development rights for an unlimited number of Applications, using one Host Operating System, node locked to a single computer, for a one year period.
- OS PAL Code Generation License (CG): License is a yearly fee for each MapuSoft product for each developer (node-locked to one computer) to generate code for the target operating system.
Target Licenses
Target License (TL) is a license to embed OS Abstractor/OS Changer in a single product or PC, for a single CPU and Operating System, at a single Development location. An additional Target Licenses is needed for each variation in the target license. Below are more options for target licenses. If any of these pertain to you and you know which one you require, please include it in the comments box before submitting the form.
Additional Target License Options:
- Single Down-Line Customer Options (SC): This is needed if your customer is not the end user and will continue development of the application. Licenses are given for Source Code distribution, Linkable Object distribution and Executable Code distribution.
- Product-Line Buyout (PLB): Extends single target license to multiple products within the same product family (e.g. high, medium and low end DVD player). Single development location applies.
- Processor Buyouts (PBX): (X= A, B, C, D, E)
A – Extends single target license to multiple CPU’s (e.g. Mot PPC 82XX) within a single family
B – Buyout of entire ARM CPU architecture family
C – Buyout of entire MIPS CPU architecture family
D – Buyout of entire PPC CPU architecture family
E other – Buyout for other architecture family
- Product-line/Processor Buyout (PPB): combines Product-line and Processor buyout rights at a single development location (e.g. high, medium and low DVD players for Motorola PPC 82XX CPUs).
- Reference Platform License (RPL): Similar to Product-line buyout but for customers who resell MT Software within their reference designs. RPL customers can only resell Single Target Licenses to down-line customers.
- RPL Distribution Buyout Options (DB): Linkable Object and Executable Code

AdaMagic
AdaMagic is licensed per project (single server), for a limited period (6 months) based on cumulative count of lines (LOCC), excluding comments and blank lines. Includes hours of telephone and or email Support (different per level of the license) and are counted in ½ hour increments.
